Indian Forest

The Indian forest are very beautiful and dense. There are different types of trees with different purposes. Trees from these forests are mainly used for making Furniture and Ayurvedic medicines. Ayurveda is a 5000+ year old system of Indian medicine using natural plant extracts.
The Indian jungles are not only known for the flora but also fauna. it has a huge number of animals and birds of varied kinds. India is the only country has both Lions and Tigers!!!
Temperature in these forest depends from one region to another,most of the forest are warm during the day and cool during the night.There are a total of 97 National Parks in India in order to protect the animals from poaching and for the protection and conservation of the endangered species such as Royal Bengal Tigers, Indian Elephants, Indian Rhinos, Siberian Crane, leopards and lions.These are also home for animals such as Apes,Monkeys,Lemur,Mongoose,Wild Dog,Crocodiles,Lizards,Deers,Elephants, Buffaloes, Rhinoceros, Antelopes,Snakes etc.There are lots of species of birds and few are: Cuckoos, koels, malkohas,Francolin, pheasants, tragopan, quail,Buzzards,Eagles, Harriers, Hawks, kites, Vultures etc.
